After flying into El Paso, TX we drove approximately three hours to Lake Roberts, New Mexico. Our lodging that night was here at the Spirit Canyon Lodge. This was a very comfortable lodge run by Fran Land. Fran was a profession at a University in Chicago before coming down to New Mexico to start her new life.
