And here is the beaver's house. This is my final picture of the hike. At this point (24.5 miles) I was concentrating on finishing the hike before it got dark. Even with a head lamp it would have been impossible to navigate the trail in the dark. I finished the hike 12 hours and 45 minutes after I started. 30.1 miles which if you do the math is 158,928 feet or 52,976 steps. I lost 3.5 pounds and gained three blisters and a sore right knee but I loved it!
